Vista Hermosa Playground – In Progress – Starting July 8, 2017 – Jay Sadler, American Legion and Navy League Project –
Purchase of playground including slides, teeter-totters, swings and multi-purpose playground. This project will include participation by the local residents in the installation along with the municipality. Installation of playground.
Had a back-hoe level the back part of the park. Removed trash on the sidewalk to clean up the front.
Moved soccer goal post from the opposite end of the playground to create a buffer so the young children will not get hit by a ball.
Reduce size of bolder in the field, add additional dirt, move and cement 2 goal posts. Fencing where required for the soccer field and volleyball court.
Installation of Volleyball court and an eight foot fence along the road to keep the ball from going to the street.
