Children’s Cancer Screening Center swimming with the dolphins - (Completed) - June 2016 - Children’s Cancer Screening Center – Repairing building - (Completed) - March 2016 - The Jay Sadler Project has supported the Cancer Center for 4 years and done 100% of their building maintenance. Food Bank of Vallarta - (Completed) - May 20, 2016 - The USCG Cutter Active 618 participated in assisting the local food bank in painting their building, installing and repairing lighting, toilet repair and building repairs. Join our us & improve the community Work with government
DIF CADI Central - (Completed) - April 7, 2016 - Day Care Center for working mothers for children 6 months to 4 years old. DIF President Candelaria Tovar de Davalos requested the Jay Sadler Project assistance in repairing the building in Central Vallarta.
Colonia Progreso Community Center - (Completed) - April 14, 2016 - HMCS Vancouver (FFH 331) assisted 2 days in painting the interior & exterior. This project sponsored by the JAY SADLER Project required 3 men spending 2 weeks in prep work. Lighting, fans installed, roof repair in addition finishing work on the walls. This
Colonia Magisterio Community Center - (Completed) - February 1, 2016 - Community Center utilized by Rotatio Vallarta Sur by seniors for meetings and feeding program. The USCG Cutter Bertholf participated in painting. The American Legion/ Jay Sadler Project did initial repairs and prep work for the painting.
Torpedos 2016 American Football - (Pop Warner) - (Completed) - The American Legion continues to support the Torpedo team and the DIF New Life Home for children, offering scholarships for 11 children for the 2016/17 football season.
