2018 Activity Report The “Jay Sadler Project”

Projects Completed

  1. San Juan Diego – Senior Home – http://asilosanjuandiego.com.mx/ – Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta employees and Julien Fruchier Yoga Retreats & Co. continue to make the improvements. Painting was the primary focus for the month of February. The Yoga group have made seven visits over the last few months.
  2. San Vicente del Mar – Repair and purchase playground equipment with Navy League of Vallarta.
  3. DIF New Life Home for Boys – Colonia Coapinole – Started early March. Finished with plastering, painting, ceramic repairs, fans and installation of 70 light fixtures. The compound consists of 1 building with 3 offices, kitchen with mess hall, 4 dormitories, bodega for storage, game room, laundry, lounge with TV and classroom with computers.
  4. Lo de Marcos – Ursulo Galvan, Nayarit – Basketball Clinic February 21, 2018.
  5. Aurora Recreation Center Bodega (Behind Walmart and Galerias) – New shelving and racks for ladders.
  6. Vista Hermosa Playground – Reduce size of bolder in the field, additional dirt, move and cement 2 goal posts.
  7. Children’s Cancer Screening Center – Finished tiling the last 3 rooms.
  8. Projecto Busca un Amigo – Roof Repairs and donation of cleaning supplies for the building and therapy swimming pool.
  9. Supplies for Regional Hospital – Toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo, toilet paper
  10. Torpedos Pop Warner Football Americano – Donation for Equipment.
  11. Items to Donate Food – Available from the 2018 Chili Cook Off for distribution along with personal hygiene supplies for Regional Hospital patients.
  12. Camino A Playa Grande 1067 – Colonia San Esteban – Replace several broken windows.
  13. Playa Grande Playground – Repairs, painting and 2 new teeter totters.
  14. Wheelchair for Carlos Roberto from Ixtapa
  15. Biblioteca Los Mangos Public Library – Supply 4 levels of scaffolding.
  16. Horizonte de Paz – Colonia Ixtapa – Oil based paint for bathrooms, brushes and rollers. 19L Blue paint for exterior wall.
  17. Presidential Palace Park – Assist Puerto Vallarta Garden Club with clean up prior to 100th anniversary celebration.
  18. Installed playground Los Mangos Library – For Navy League of Vallarta.
  19. Casa Compassion Home for Teenage Girls – Electrical inspection and possible repairs.
  1. Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza (RISE) – Repair roof and seal with exterior coating and extend roof drainage.
  2.   Prim. Rural Federal Benito Juarez Los Lomas de Monterrey, Nayarit – Playground purchased. Installed June 16, 2018.
  3. Ursulo Galvan, Nayarit – Repair playground install new slide and larger swing set. Install sink next to bathroom to wash hands.
  4. Corral del Risco Kinder School – Punta de Mita – Playground and repairs to the bathroom water system. Inspect electrical service. Applied and received 15,000-peso grant for partial payment for playground from Foundation Punta de Mita. Installed June 30, 2018.
  5. Projecto Busca un Amigos Estancia Sabrina – Repair roof.
  6. Salvation Army Colonia – Colonia Mojaneras – Big roof job, painting and repairs, Metal – green and blue.
  7. Mango Festival July 7th – El Parque “Lazaro Cardenas”.
  8. Canica Psychologist Office – Install electrical service for air conditioning and purchase air conditioner unit.
  9. DIF Casa de Dia Aurora – Building repairs and painting. BIG JOB.
  10. RehaSer Clinic – Total renovation interior and major electrical work.
  11. Aurora Recreation Center – Paint and repair fencing and 3 sets of soccer goal posts and installing 3 picnic tables.
  12. OEPV Orquesta Escuela De Puerto Vallarta A.C. – Painting, repairs and fan work.
  13. Vista Hermosa Playground – Fencing and wall where required for the soccer field and volleyball court. In progress October 25, 2018.
  14. Disaster Relief for victims in Northern Nayarit – Donated 6 shopping bags of food and 6 shovels.
  15. Escuela Primaria 17 de Febrero – Repair fencing, remove large rocks in soccer field.
  16. Veterans Day & Remembrance Day Event – Held at Hidalgo Park in partnership with American Legion Post 14. 300 people in attendance.
  17. Beach Cleanup – Started at Playa Los Muertos Pier with Monex Grupo Financiero and Hyatt Ziva volunteers.
  18. Primary School 20 de November (on Juarez) – Repair water distribution system at the afternoon class bathrooms, repair toilets and install 2 sinks for washing hands.
  19. Holland American Tour, Entertainment and Dinner December 20, 2018 – Organized Ship Tour for 14 boys from DIF New Life Home for Boys and 13 Children from Salvation Army on behalf of the Children’s Cancer Screening Center.
